The Journey of SOAR
SOAR began with a simple observation: many students have talent, ambition, and potential, but lack consistent mentorship and guidance as they prepare for life after high school.
In many communities, students are asked to make important decisions about college, careers, and leadership without always having access to the support systems that help turn potential into opportunity. Through years of working with students, educators, and youth leadership programs, it became clear that many young people benefit from spaces where they can receive mentorship, develop confidence, and explore their goals in a supportive environment.
SOAR was created to help meet that need. What began as informal mentorship and guidance for students has grown into an organization focused on leadership development, mentorship, and helping students prepare for life beyond graduation.
Today, SOAR works to build partnerships with schools, educators, and community leaders to create meaningful opportunities for students to grow, lead, and pursue their future with confidence.
